Welcome to Maharaja Ganga Singh Ji Trust

Maharaja Ganga Singhji Trust was created by H. H. Maharaja Dr. Karni Singhji of Bikaner on 12th March 1972 for Public Charitable and Philanthropic purpose and for providing socio-cultural activities and to promote the development and progress of the area of Bikaner State with a desire to serve the people of these areas and with a view to promote Cultural, Educational, Medical, Moral, Sports and other such facilities and to provide for the poor and needy and for national integration and international understanding.

The corpus of the Trust was created by transferring the immovable properties being the part of land and building of Lallgarh Palace Complex. This Trust is registered with the Devasthan Department, Government of Rajasthan.

Unveiling of Statue of Maharaja Ganga Singhji Bahadur of Bikaner

In 2010 the Vice Chancellor, Maharaja Ganga Singh University requested the Trustees of Maharaja Rai Singhji Trust to install a bronze statue of Maharaja Ganga Singhji at the entrance circle of the university campus.

Looking to Maharaja Ganga Singhji’s great contribution in the development of the education system in Bikaner State and on public demand Princess Rajyashree Kumari Bikaner, Chairperson, Maharaja Ganga Singhji Trust had taken up the task of getting the Bikaner University named after her great grandfather in the year 2002.
